Taylor Sheridan's Tulsa King returns for Season 4 this week, with Sylvester Stallone back as Dwight "The General" Manfredi. Here is the release date and time, where to watch, who is in the cast, and what changed behind the camera.
Tulsa King Season 4 release date and time
Season 4 premieres Friday, October 16, 2026 at 3:01 a.m. ET on Paramount+, according to Decider. That is 3:01 p.m. the same day in Beijing.
Episode 1 is titled "W.W.D.D.," per Taste of Country.
Where to watch Tulsa King Season 4
Tulsa King streams exclusively on Paramount+, and Seasons 1–3 are already there (Decider). Decider lists two plans: the ad-supported Essential plan at $8.99/month and the ad-free Premium plan at $13.99/month, with a seven-day free trial on Premium. Paramount+ is also sold through YouTube, which Decider says was $10.99/month for the first three months at the time of writing. Prices and trials change, so check before you sign up.
What Season 4 is about

The official Paramount+ synopsis (via Decider): "In Season Four, Dwight (Stallone) fights to legitimize his empire and protect his crew as corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a crushing personal loss hit from every direction."
The official stills point to a few setups, as covered by Taste of Country:
- Dwight walks with a cane, which suggests he is more vulnerable this season.
- Quiet Ray Renzetti is back, and he and Dwight appear to be keeping the peace. That is a surprise, since Ray put out hits on Dwight and Russell Lee Washington (Samuel L. Jackson) at the end of Season 3.
- New antagonists: English Dan (Richie Stephens), described as a mid-level crime boss who goes head-to-head with Dwight, and tech billionaire Bradley Van Heusen (Flula Borg). A music producer and criminal called Liquid Rick also features in the trailer.
- Amanda Clark (Gretchen Mol), a local politician who reportedly wants to rid Oklahoma of the mob. She is introduced in Episode 1, and the photos show her working closely with Governor Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough).
Tulsa King Season 4 cast
Per Decider, Stallone is joined by Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike "Cash Flo" Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak, Neal McDonough, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. Gretchen Mol joins as a series regular, playing Amanda Clark. Eden Lee has a recurring role as Maya, the governor's chief of staff.
Behind the scenes: Terence Winter is back, and Frank Grillo almost wasn't
Frank Grillo (Bill Bevilaqua) told Screen Rant he thought he was done after Season 3. Stallone, who is also an executive producer, called him and explained the changes behind the scenes. Original showrunner Terence Winter is back as head writer at Stallone's request. Screen Rant reports there is no showrunner this season and that Scott Stone is overseeing production. Season 3 showrunner Dave Erickson has left the series (Decider).
"When Sly said the band's getting back together, I said, 'I'm going to get my guitar. I'll be right over,'" Grillo told Screen Rant. He called Winter "a singular writer" who "understands the world of gangsters."
What the cast said at PaleyFest NY

The Season 4 premiere screened early at PaleyFest NY on October 10, and Stallone and Winter accepted the PaleyFest Award for the show, BroadwayWorld reports. Highlights from the panel:
- Stallone: "this year tops it all… this is it."
- Winter on Dwight's position: "Where do you go when you're on top, there's always someone who's gonna want to knock you down."
- Martin Starr on Bodhi, who was "set up as a pacifist": "it's been a fun tightrope walk."
- Gretchen Mol said Amanda "likes rules and doesn't think it should be that difficult to abide by the rules." Stallone said of her performance: "she nailed it."
- Garrett Hedlund called the change in Mitch's storyline "a refreshing switch for my character."
What comes after: Season 5 in New York, and a six-season goal
Paramount+ has already renewed Tulsa King for Season 5. Production is moving from Atlanta to New York, and Season 5 is already filming (Decider). Garrett Hedlund confirmed to Screen Rant that Mitch is part of the move. He called it a "beautiful way to not only go to the next level" and said he was looking forward to working on "Terence Winter's home turf."
Asked by Collider how many seasons he sees in a "dream world," Stallone said: "I'd say six in the dream world. Six." He also said he does not want Dwight to die at the end: "I'm very opposed to heroes dying."
Stallone will also appear in the spinoff Frisco King, led by Samuel L. Jackson's Russell Lee Washington Jr. "I am in two-and-a-half episodes," he told Collider, as reported by MovieWeb. MovieWeb says Frisco King's first season will have eight episodes and is expected on Paramount+ sometime in 2027, with no firm date yet.
